API2Cart always strives to improve its API to empower our customers with more opportunities to grow retailers’ business. This time API2Cart announces the addition of a new coupon functionality - cart.coupon.condition.add method for Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce. Its name speaks for itself: now you can set conditions for coupons.

We already have cart.coupon.add method to add coupons to stores, which makes a base for an excellent marketing tool - offering various coupons, discounts, and rewards to shoppers.

The new cart.coupon.condition.add method is developed to help marketing software, repricing solutions, software for multi-channel, merchants, etc. to convert more customers and earn more revenue.

 

There are quite a few condition options for coupons. It is possible to set conditions based on the following entities:

Orders

Set coupons based on order parameters:

  • shipping address
  • total order price
  • subtotal order price
  • total weight
  • total quantity
  • total shipping cost

Order shipping address

Set coupons based on delivery country

Product

Set coupons based on product parameters:

  • item_price
  • item_total_price
  • item_quantity
  • category_id
  • product_id
  • variant_id

Customer

 Set coupons based on customer id
