What API2Cart Is Evaluating for KashFlow Integration
Candidate data flow
Online sales connected with customers, invoices, payments, and taxes. The final entity and method list will be based on verified vendor API capabilities rather than assumptions.
Operational outcome
The intended workflow is to support VAT-aware treatment of discounts, shipping, and refunds. Record ownership and idempotency would be defined before write operations are enabled.
Accounting safeguards
The connector would need to reduce manual reconciliation for owner-managed businesses. Orders, invoices, payments, refunds, settlements, and journal entries would not be treated as interchangeable records.

What We Know About KashFlow So Far
Based on KashFlow’s own documentation and API2Cart’s discovery process — not a promise of a release date.
API & Integration. KashFlow maintains two parallel APIs: an established SOAP/XML web service and a newer REST API authenticated with a session token (Authorization: KfToken {token}, obtained via a dedicated session endpoint, expiring after roughly 60 minutes of inactivity). In its most recent published documentation the REST API is explicitly flagged as not yet ready for general production use and subject to breaking changes, making the SOAP interface the more stable integration path today.
Is this integration live yet? No. KashFlow integration is not live yet. Authentication, entities, fields, write operations, webhooks, limits, regional availability, and release timing remain subject to technical discovery and customer demand.
What’s the integration challenge? Engineering discovery must verify API access, authorization, rate limits, and current Making Tax Digital scope. Unsupported objects or operations would remain outside the published scope.
How is a release decided? Roadmap evaluation includes API maturity, sandbox access, accounting correctness, customer demand, maintenance cost, data residency, rate limits, and overlap with existing connectors. The page records an integration candidate; it does not promise a release date.
Technical validation. Engineering discovery must verify API access, authorization, rate limits, and current Making Tax Digital scope. Unsupported objects or operations would remain outside the published scope.
