What API2Cart Is Evaluating for Xledger Integration
Candidate data flow
Commerce signals connected with customer, invoice, and ledger processes. The final entity and method list will be based on verified vendor API capabilities rather than assumptions.
Operational outcome
The intended workflow is to maintain entity, dimension, currency, and approval relationships. Record ownership and idempotency would be defined before write operations are enabled.
Accounting safeguards
The connector would need to support consolidated reporting while isolating company-level transactions. Orders, invoices, payments, refunds, settlements, and journal entries would not be treated as interchangeable records.

What We Know About Xledger So Far
Based on Xledger’s own documentation and API2Cart’s discovery process — not a promise of a release date.
API & Integration. Xledger exposes a modern GraphQL API (schema at xledger.net/graphql for production, demo.xledger.net/graphql for the demo/sandbox environment) rather than a REST interface, authenticated with an API token generated per Xledger environment and scoped with read/write permissions per module (e.g. Accounts Payable, General Ledger); tokens generated in demo work only in demo and vice versa, enforcing tenant isolation. The API is rate-limited to prevent excessive concurrent requests (usage-based rather than credit-based), and Xledger recommends batching, filtering, pagination, and mass-mutation endpoints over single-record mutations to stay within limits.
Is this integration live yet? No. Xledger integration is not live yet. Authentication, entities, fields, write operations, webhooks, limits, regional availability, and release timing remain subject to technical discovery and customer demand.
What’s the integration challenge? Engineering discovery must validate integration services, authentication, supported objects, and event timing. Unsupported objects or operations would remain outside the published scope.
How is a release decided? Roadmap evaluation includes API maturity, sandbox access, accounting correctness, customer demand, maintenance cost, data residency, rate limits, and overlap with existing connectors. The page records an integration candidate; it does not promise a release date.
Technical validation. Engineering discovery must validate integration services, authentication, supported objects, and event timing. Unsupported objects or operations would remain outside the published scope.
