What API2Cart Is Evaluating for Cetec ERP Integration
Candidate workflow
Connect commerce activity with customers, parts, quotes, orders, inventory, and production. Final entity and method coverage will follow verified vendor interfaces and customer requirements.
Operational outcome
The intended result is to retain warehouse, revision, lot, serial, routing, quality, and job relationships. Identity rules and idempotency would be defined before transactional writes are enabled.
ERP safeguards
The design must support controlled demand updates without duplicating manufacturing records. Customers, products, sales orders, fulfillments, invoices, and production records would keep their distinct lifecycle roles.

What We Know About Cetec ERP So Far
Based on Cetec ERP’s own documentation and API2Cart’s discovery process — not a promise of a release date.
API & Integration. Cetec ERP provides a JSON-based REST API, plus a separate specialized endpoint (importjson) purpose-built for importing quotes and orders from external systems. Authentication is via an API key/token passed in the request header. API access is metered and tiered by monthly call volume rather than flat-rate (a free tier under 1,000 calls/month, paid tiers at higher volumes) — a factor worth building into integration cost planning — and documentation is hosted per-instance at /apioverview rather than as a single public reference.
Cetec ERP integration is not live yet. Authentication, modules, entities, fields, writes, events, limits, editions, and release timing remain subject to technical discovery and demand.
Background. Cetec ERP describes itself as a cloud ERP built by experienced ERP specialists for manufacturers. It combines quoting, sales, engineering, purchasing, inventory, production, quality, shipping, document control, accounting, and manufacturing cost accounting in one system.
Where it specializes. Cetec is oriented toward small and midsize manufacturers, including engineer-to-order and high-complexity operations. Its feature set emphasizes multi-level bills of material, scheduling, lot and serial traceability, quality and compliance records, document control, work orders, job costing, and customer and vendor portals.
Integration challenge. Cetec publishes a JSON REST API with endpoints for parts, orders, inventory bins, production movements, documents, and other records. Access uses a pre-shared token and is sold in request-volume tiers. The documentation warns that write and delete calls change live data, are not reversible, and currently have no general versioning guarantee for parameters and responses. API2Cart must therefore use a test environment where available, constrain token permissions, budget all request methods, validate IDs and external keys, and design idempotency, audit logging, schema-drift detection, and recovery before enabling production writes.
Technical validation. Engineering must validate API endpoints, authentication, permissions, pagination, and change detection. Unsupported modules and operations would remain outside the public scope.
Roadmap evaluation considers API maturity, sandbox access, operational correctness, commerce relevance, scale, customer demand, maintenance cost, deployment variants, and overlap with existing connectors. This page records a candidate, not a promised release date.
