Connect eCommerce Operations with Accounting Workflows

Plan a Zoho Books integration through one API instead of building a custom Zoho Books connector for your SaaS.

01

Unified Integration Architecture

With API2Cart, your team uses one API instead of a separate Zoho Books connector. In the same way, Zoho Books support is planned to follow this unified approach. As a result, you skip another standalone integration on your roadmap.

02

eCommerce-to-Accounting Workflows

For example, online orders, payments, and customer records often need to reach an accounting system. A Zoho Books ecommerce integration could link that data with accounting workflows. As a result, your users would rely less on manual exports.

03

Built for SaaS Developers

In fact, API2Cart works with OMS, ERP, accounting, and eCommerce integration software vendors. Your developers stay focused on the core product while we maintain platform connections. You can also share your Zoho Books connector requirements before launch.

Potential Zoho Books eCommerce Integration Use Cases

Order-to-Invoice Automation

For instance, order management and multichannel software could turn online orders into accounting records in Zoho Books. Consequently, finance teams would spend less time on manual data entry.

Payment Reconciliation

Accounting and analytics tools could also match eCommerce transactions and marketplace payouts with Zoho Books records. As a result, finance teams could spot gaps faster.

Customer and Item Data Consistency

Similarly, ERP and inventory software could keep customer and item information aligned through a Zoho Books ecommerce integration. Consistent data also makes reports easier to trust.

The examples above illustrate potential use cases. Actual supported capabilities will be confirmed when the integration becomes available.

Integration Availability & Planned Scope

Zoho Books API Integration: Technical Considerations

Any Zoho Books connector has to handle the requirements below, as documented by Zoho. API2Cart's connection workflow for Zoho Books has not been finalized yet.

  • OAuth 2.0: Zoho Books uses OAuth 2.0 authorization with scoped access and refresh tokens.
  • Organization ID: requests run in the context of a specific Zoho Books organization.
  • Regional data centers: accounts and API domains depend on the customer's region.
  • API scopes: an integration must request the scopes for each entity it works with.
